In 2009, I had an amazing, transformative, beautiful hike, and helping other women to do the same brings me boundless joy.
Before hiking the AT, I was a science teacher for 16 years and I've always spent as much time as I can outdoors, hiking, camping and just enjoying nature. I'm also a certified life coach. That means I know how to help you with your fears, scary thoughts, and confusing issues around relationships, jobs, etc. as you prep for your hike. You’ve probably already heard this, but the most difficult aspect of the trail is not the physical part, it’s the mental part. I can help you be ready for the times you’ll feel like quitting. I’ll be sharing all the ways I stayed positive and happy on my hike, and I’ll provide concrete ideas and tips as will my fellow fabulous guest hikers.
